Which condom type suits you
The type changes how a condom feels, not what it is for: every one here is for pregnancy prevention and STI protection.
| Type | What it’s for | Our pick |
|---|---|---|
| Ultra thin | More sensitivity. Thinner latex lets more warmth and feeling through. | Our pick: Durex Invisible (Extra Thin) or Pulse Ultra Thin Premium |
| Dotted or ribbed | Extra texture. Raised dots or ribs on the outside add stimulation for your partner. | Our pick: Pulse Dotted Premium |
| Climax delay | Lasting longer. The inside carries a mild numbing lubricant that lowers sensitivity for the wearer. Check the pack if you have a sensitivity to numbing agents. | Our pick: Pulse Delay Premium, or Durex Extended Pleasure |
| Bulk pack | Regular use. A pack of 12 costs less per condom than buying packs of 3. | Our pick: Durex Extended Pleasure, pack of 12 |
All six are lubricated latex condoms. Durex Extra Safe is slightly thicker and more generously lubricated. Contoured and flavoured condoms aren’t on our shelf yet; message us and we’ll check what we can get.
Getting the size right
A condom that fits stays on and is less likely to split, and the width is what decides the fit.
- Width matters more than length. Almost every condom is long enough; any extra stays rolled at the base.
- Look for the nominal width on the pack, in millimetres. Regular condoms are usually about 52 to 56mm.
- “Snug” or “close fit” means narrower, “large” or “XL” means wider. Names vary, so go by the number.
- The correct fit rolls down easily and stays in place without pinching.
- Warning: Too tight feels like pressure and is more likely to split. Try a wider one.
- Warning: Too loose slips or bunches at the base. Try a narrower one.
If you know the width you need, send it to us on WhatsApp and we’ll tell you which of ours is closest.

Using condoms correctly
Condoms give the protection they are made for only when used correctly, every time, from start to finish.
- Check the expiry date, and that the wrapper is sealed with a small cushion of air inside.
- Open the wrapper by hand along the edge, not with teeth, scissors or nails.
- Put it on before any genital contact. Pinch the tip to leave room for semen.
- If you start to roll it on inside out, throw it away and use a new one.
- Afterwards, hold the base as you withdraw, then wrap it and put it in the bin.
- Storage: a cool, dry place out of direct sun.
- Warning: One at a time. Two worn together rub against each other and tear more easily.
- Warning: Never reuse a condom. Use a new one every time.
- Warning: No oil-based lubricant or petroleum jelly with latex: they weaken it. Water- or silicone-based is fine.
- Warning: Never keep one in a wallet or a car. Heat and rubbing damage latex.
- Warning: If one splits or slips off, speak to a pharmacist or doctor straight away about emergency contraception.
- Warning: Itching, a rash or swelling after use can mean a latex allergy. Stop and see a doctor.
Frequently asked questions
How much do condoms cost in Pakistan?
At our prices, a pack of 3 costs Rs 330 to Rs 700 and a pack of 12 costs Rs 1,950. Pulse packs of 3 are Rs 330 to Rs 350, and Durex packs of 3 are Rs 600 to Rs 700. Prices vary from shop to shop, so compare the same brand and pack size.
How do condoms prevent pregnancy?
A condom is a thin barrier that collects semen, so sperm can’t reach an egg. It also lowers the risk of infections passed on through body fluids, such as HIV, gonorrhoea and chlamydia. No method of family planning is 100% effective. Condoms work best when used correctly every time, from start to finish.
Which condom brands are available in Pakistan?
We stock Durex and Pulse. Durex is an international brand; Pulse costs about half as much for a pack of 3. Shops also carry other brands. Whichever condom in Pakistan you choose, check that the wrapper is sealed and in date and that it hasn’t been kept somewhere hot.
What are the different condom sizes?
Condoms are sized by nominal width, printed on many packs in millimetres. Regular condoms are usually about 52 to 56mm wide. Snug or close-fit condoms are narrower, and large or XL condoms are wider. Length matters much less, because almost every condom is long enough.
How are condom orders packaged for delivery?
In plain outer packaging, with no product name on the parcel and nothing on the delivery slip about what’s inside. The rider doesn’t know the contents. You pay cash on delivery, so nothing appears on a card or bank statement.
